We are honored and excited to partner with Grace Upon Grace Project this quarter as our featured non-profit. If you haven’t been able to tell through the launch of our latest gift box – the Growing Girl Gift Box – we’re pretty passionate about supporting girls as they navigate life’s changes. So a partnership between Loved Beyond Measure Gifts and Grace Upon Grace Project just makes sense.
At Grace Upon Grace Project, we are a group of advocates who feel that we all have an innate purpose, mission, goal—whatever you want to call it–to make the world a better place. There is so much beauty and love in the world we live in, but there is also heartache and pain. As we set out on this journey we call life, we truly feel at the end of the day it is not about what we have accomplished or the money we have made. It is about how we have helped. It is about how we have lifted others up. It is about how we have helped others live with grace and dignity.
It is our dream at Grace Upon Grace Project to provide under-served people in our community diapers, wipes, and period products to live and grow with grace and dignity while addressing the roots of social inequities.
While the majority of Grace Upon Grace Project’s efforts go towards their monthly distribution events for women and families to pick up a month’s worth of diapers and/or period products, they have also worked tirelessly to partner with school districts in Northern Colorado and, more recently, with the state legislature to ensure every menstruating girl has access to period products in school.
The passage of HB24-1164 was a huge step forward for the state of Colorado and all girls who have been forced to miss school because they are on their period and have no access to period products. Beginning in 2025, Colorado middle and high-schools will be required to stock all girl’s bathrooms with tampons and pads so girls can continue their learning with a sense of dignity.
We are so proud of the work Grace Upon Grace Project has put into helping push this bill to passage. Every purchase made from Loved Beyond Measure Gifts from July-September 2024 will support their mission of living and growing with grace and dignity.
